Benjamin Counihan, DDS

Dr. Counihan grew up in Grass Valley, just up the hill from us. He graduated from University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. He has practiced for several years in Yuba City, where he still works part-time. He joins us three days a week and absolutely loves it. When they’re not busy on their peach farm, Dr. Counihan’s four wonderful young children love to get out camping and hiking. The coast has a special draw, as the kids are like a bunch of fish and Dr. Counihan loves to surf and dive for crab and abalone.

Dr. Counihan left his first career in Corporate Business because he wanted his work to directly affect people for the better. Now he pursues his dream of making people’s lives better through improving their dental health and self-esteem. It’s great to have him here with us!
